Fashion Weekend Re-cap

This past weekend I encountered a bit of a fashion event explosion!  Thank goodness because if I would have had to come off my London Fashion Week high cold turkey, it would not have been pretty!! Thankfully I had just enough fashion fun this weekend to soothe me back into the real world..

On Thursday night Megan West from the Pointy Toe Shoe Crew and I popped into a late night vintage shopping event at Vous Valet in Yaletown. Wine, vegetable platters, and vintage fashion is the perfect recipe for any Thursday night and this Thursday was no exception!

Perusing the collection of one-of-a-kind vintage finds Megan and I found some fun pieces that we had to try on.
Here we are together, me wearing a Dolce & Gabbana  red leopard, pleated, mullet number, and Megan wearing a white sparkly BCBG bonanza.

My second outfit was this sparkly chic Marc Jacobs, mod dress with an abundance of colour, which of course is so me!

While neither of us bought the dresses we tried on, we did walk away with two awesome deals on pants. Megan of course with a wide legged denim and me with a skinnier velour version.
P.S. good news for you, this means that the dresses are still up for grabs!!! You have to stop into the shop Elizabeth and Kenneth are absolutely fabulous, and they will help you find something spectacular.

Our fashion weekend continued on Saturday night where we attended the LBD (little black dress) Soiree put on by Stilletto Fit and Help Change My City, to raise money for the Battered Women's Support Services.  It was great to get all glammed up and raise awareness for a great cause.

Here are some pics from the evening

Spotted some killer studded heels

Jennifer, owner of Jennyfleur Loves rocked an outstanding zipper piece made by Nicolette Lang-Anderson

wearing: Richard Nicoll tweed dress
and Cynthia Rowley heels

And last but not least here I am, fashionable as always, sporting my sleepover onesie at one of my besty's birthday party.. 26 is never too old for a slumber party!!! (laugh it up)

Hope you had just as much fashion fun this weekend.
Post your weekend fashion fun on my facebook page here I would love to take a look at what you did this weekend.
