Inspiration - Paris Couture 2012

With the fashion season upon us I'm really finding it hard to do anything other than view the amazing runway collections popping up all over the world... please don't tell my work.  Of course the big one last week was the 2012 Couture Fashion Show in Paris.

There really isn't anything more spectacular than Couture, the countless hours and meticulous workmanship (or womanship) is impeccable.  Inspiration for so many designers start at the Paris Couture runway show, and nothing says all of the above like my absolute favourite collection at the show, Elie Saab.

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G absolutely stunning... I don't know what else to say... well that's obviously a lie because I always have something to say, but I am definitely at least close to being speechless.

I just find it incomprehensible how Elie Saab is able to present ballerina-esqué cuteness, alongside fitted floor length elegance, and breathtaking full skirted awe and make it look all so cohesive.. stunning!  I only wish I could have sat alongside that white runway watching the show live.
